We Build Champions
Our Purpose
Good Landing Recovery exists to destroy the power of addiction by creating an atmosphere where God can restore families and lives through the body, spirit, and soul. Our unique and integrative approach to each person’s recovery emphasizes healing and growth in every area of their life. We understand that no addiction is just a physical or mental battle, and it doesn’t just affect one person’s life. Our goal is a total transformation of each person, inside and out, so we can return them to a healthy, safe, and healing family environment.
How We Help
At GLR, we treat the mind with drug and alcohol counseling strategies that meet addiction and its surrounding behaviors head-on. We treat the body with sound nutrition and exercise to replace unhealthy habits and restore vigorous health at our drug rehab center. We treat the soul and spirit with prayer and pastoral concern, walking through each struggle with our clients, and celebrating every victory with them.
The Admissions Process
Our simple, straightforward admissions process is designed to create an easy process for getting people the help they need. A family member or much-seeking addiction treatments can contact us 24 hours a day to take the first step in the recovery process.
The Pillars of Faith-Based Recovery
The road to recovery from drug and alcohol addiction is one that a person walks for the rest of their life. With the support of a faith-based addiction recovery program, that road can be walked joyfully in an environment based on forgiveness and the restorative healing only Christ can provide.
Good Landing’s success in facilitating and supporting your walk to recovery is grounded in four pillars:
Creating an Atmosphere of Faith
“For nothing will be impossible with God.”
Luke 1:37
Addiction and recovery are spiritual issues, and it’s through faith that people experience real and lasting transformation. Our program’s life-giving, supercharged atmosphere of faith is designed to promote and support change.
Developing an Overcoming Spirit
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Philippians 4:13
Drug and alcohol addiction takes a heavy toll on life. So often, those suffering from addiction are beaten down to the point that they give up, thinking their condition is permanent. Together, the men who served at Good Landing developed an overcoming spirit. This restorative power of resurrection is what it takes to beat addiction and become empowered to live a successful life.
Building a Strong Body
“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?”
1 Corinthians 6:19 NKJV
Our bodies are given to us by God for His glory and must be handled with care. Addiction can have lasting effects on the body, so it must be prepared and strengthened for the recovery process. By focusing on physical fitness, we make sure you are in excellent shape upon exiting our program.
Trusting the Process
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Romans 12:2 ESV
False belief systems feed the grip of addiction. By determining what those are in your life, we can destroy them. These things do not happen overnight — the road to recovery takes time. We will work through whatever toxic beliefs and behaviors are keeping you in bondage, giving you a lasting recovery grounded in spiritual fortitude.
